I’ve been having this issue with diapers… Which ones to use, really. When Cadence was born, I used Swaddlers off of a recommendation from a co-worker and because that’s what they used in the hospital where she was born. They worked for a while, then they started to leave marks on her legs (as if they were too tight), so we tried to loosen it when we put them on. That didn’t work. SO then, we had to go one size up and it was a bit too loose. So then, we tried Huggies (against the recommendation of my friend) and it was just like a volcano. Lava everywhere! Every time, no matter what. So, off with the Huggies and back to Swaddlers.

Long story short, I ended up going with Costco brand diapers because of the price/amount of diapers I got per box. And really, if poop was coming out of the Huggies and eventually the Swaddlers, why not have poop come out of the diaper that cost less? And she does poop a lot, I’ll give the girl that much. She’ll poop right after you’ve just changed the last poo diaper and she’ll poop while you’re changing the poo diaper. Projectile poop may be my favorite- just shoots right out at ya and ends up on your wall… never fun to clean. I guess while I’m on the topic of poo, I’ve been wondering- how is it that when the baby is sitting upright and they poo, the poo is still able to creep up their back and out of the diaper? Doesn’t that defy gravity or something?!

I’m always interested to know what brand of diapers people use and whether or not they’ve had the same bad luck with poo as I have.
